Crediton Youth 3 - 1 Exmouth United
Today saw a difficult match against a very strong Crediton Youth team. Exmouth started strongly, keeping their shape and passing well. This was rewarded with a good strike from Dylan Mogford that found the bottom corner to put United 1-0 up. However, the home side came back and made it 2-1 by half-time. In the second half Exmouth battled hard but Crediton clinched a late third goal from a corner to seal the win.

Sidmouth Warriors 0 - 3 Exmouth United (Friendly)
On a beautiful September morning we travelled to Sidmouth to play a friendly against the Warriors.
A close run first-half saw some good passing football from both sides climax in a penalty for Exmouth. Captain Dylan Mogford stepped up and coolly fired into the corner to make it 1-0. Stand-in goalkeeper Jay Leballeur made some good saves and led the team from the back.
In the second half United took their game up a level and made numerous excellent chances. Bryn Stephens regularly broke from the back to release Kuba Strzalkowski whose exceptional skill and pace resulted in a wonderful solo effort for Exmouth's second.
An excellent energetic Exmouth performance was capped by a third goal by Cayleb Field from inside the box. A great confidence boost for the team before the season kicks off next week!

West Hill Wasps 3 - 1 Exmouth United (Cup)
In a very hard-fought good game of football West Hill Wasps sealed a win to knock Exmouth out of the cup. The home side took a 3 goal lead but United showed great spirit and created numerous chances but were only able to get 1 back from a great strike by Dylan Mogford. We wish West Hill Wasps luck for the rest of the cup.
